TCA Peer Crisis Support

Are You Experiencing a Community Crisis or Traumatic Event?

This may include:

  • Natural disasters
  • Mass casualty events or community violence
  • The unexpected loss of a TCA member

The TCA Peer Crisis Support Taskforce is here to support TCA members who are responding to or impacted by community crises. We maintain a network of trained TCA clinicians who are ready to provide support to fellow mental health professionals navigating the effects of a major crisis or traumatic event within their communities. Our focus is on supporting you as a clinician—providing peer support for those who are serving others during difficult times. We do not provide direct services to clients in these instances.

If you are in crisis, click on this Button to file a request for support. You do not have to manage this alone—peer support is available.

What Happens Next?

After you reach out, a member of the TCA staff or the Peer Crisis Support Team will connect with you directly.
Here’s what you can expect:

We’ll contact you to learn more about your situation and your community’s needs
We’ll talk through support options and what would be most helpful right now
A response plan will be created to guide peer support and coordination

Our goal is to respond quickly, thoughtfully, and in a way that best supports you during a difficult time.
