In Plain Sight: Confronting the Human Trafficking Crisis in the Healthcare Setting

Description: Human trafficking is one of the fastest-growing crimes in the world, affecting thousands across the U.S. every year. This engaging session empowers counselors and healthcare professionals to recognize the warning signs, respond effectively, and provide trauma-informed care to victims. Learn how to identify at-risk populations, differentiate between trafficking and consensual sex work, and take action through proper reporting and support. Together, we can help save lives and bring awareness to this critical issue.
