Description: Participants will understand how to recognize OCD, the effects it has on the brain, and how to identify the symptoms, behaviors, and cognitive patterns associated with OCD, developing skills to recognize intrusive thoughts in themselves and others. We'll review the impact OCD has on individuals' relationships, work, and overall quality of life. Practical tools and resources for managing OCD, including strategies for self-help, professional treatment options, and supportive communication techniques will be provided. Participants will interact through group discussions, and short video will be played for the participants to help gain experience in recognizing OCD and responding appropriately.
