Description: We hear that word a lot these days – “trauma.” But what is trauma? How does it impact student development and learning? Most importantly – what should educators do to help students impacted by trauma in order to help them feel calm under pressure, safe at school, and engaged in learning? This practical session will explore these questions and more; in addition, participants are encouraged to bring burning questions of their own!
