Description: Complex-PTSD affects millions, requiring specialized therapeutic approaches beyond traditional PTSD treatment. This presentation explores the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) as a humanistic, neuroscientifically-informed approach to healing developmental trauma. NARM addresses attachment, relational, and developmental trauma through patterns of disconnection formed early in life. Participants will learn evidence-based interventions integrating cognitive and somatic methods, understand the four pillars of NARM, and develop practical skills for working with clients experiencing complex trauma while maintaining therapeutic presence and promoting client agency.
