Description: Trauma is often “impossible to put into words” (van der Kolk, 2014). This session introduces how sandtray enables symbolic expression of trauma and covers core skills—setting up the tray, selecting miniatures, facilitating nondirective exploration, and processing scenes—along with practical applications for diverse settings.
