LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT As your President, I want to say "Welcome!!!" It is a pleasure to know that you are interested in the many issues that face us as individuals dealing with development and aging across the lifespan and also as an organization! Let me give you a brief status report on OUR division.
First, there are many exciting things on the "drawing board", and I will attempt to keep you apprised of those via email and the newsletter. You will find copies of our most recent newsletter on this website. They have some great articles plus exciting information about our TAADA activities reflecting that TAADA is the "happening place" !!!! Second, I would like to encourage you to become involved in TAADA! In order to have a strong organization, I, as President, or your Elected Officers who have agreed to serve this year, cannot do it alone. One of the ways to be involved (without being "overwhelmed") is to make a commitment to being on a committee! If you have been looking for a way to "get involved" with TCA this might just be what you are looking for. If you can think of areas that might be of interested to you, please share those ideas with me. I'm very open to any and all ideas you might have.Third, I believe this is an exciting division to be part of and this is an exciting time to be part of it! Welcome Aboard!!!! We're glad you share our interest in "understanding adults across the lifespan!" Finally, this is OUR organization - not "mine". I just happen to be the President this year.
