TMHCA is pleased that all our Action Items, for the 2007-2008 term, have been meet or set into action under the Presidency of Dr. Elizabeth Wilhite and the current 2007 - 2008 Board of Directors
- Increase membership by ten percent
- Complete brochure
- Create a web site
- Advocacy on the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Board
- Offer Continuing Education seminars for mental-health clinicians
- Publish newsletters, and include advertising
- Participate in affiliated state and national associations
- Conduct a License Professional Counselor (LPC) survey
- Computerize By-Laws, review, update, and seek member approval
- Enlist graduate students to work with TMHCA Board
- Conduct seminars for the membership, which grant (CEUs) continuing education units
- Have a gathering for members of the Texas Mental Health Counselors Association
