Facilitating is Easy and Fun!
You can guarantee admission into your session by being the facilitator. Graduate Students can sign up to earn $25 by facilitating for three hours.
As members come in, have them sign the attendance sign-in sheet and check the appropriate box(es) to the right of their signature. 15 minutes after the program begins or when the room fills to capacity (whichever comes first), close the door, put the “Session Closed” sign on the door and do not admit anyone. You may admit people that come in late because the previous session they were in was canceled or the presenter did not show.
CONFERENCE NAME BADGES ARE REQUIRED BY ALL SESSION ATTENDEES. IF AN ATTENDEE NEEDS A NAMETAG SEND THEM TO REGISTRATION. PLEASE NOTE THAT NEON NAME BADGES ARE FOR PRE AND POST CONFERENCE SESSIONS ONLY AND ATTENDEES WITH THIS COLOR NAMEBADGE SHOULD BE SENT TO REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE.
Welcome attendees at the appointed time. Please ask all attendees with cell phones, pagers, or any other electronic devices, to turn them off during the session, and introduce the presenter(s).
THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT SHOULD BE READ ALOUD TO THE AUDIENCE: TCA's status as a continuing education provider for Licensed Professional Counselor credit means that a program designated for LPC credit meets the general requirements set out in LPC Board rules. It does not imply endorsement of the content of any specific program. TCA’s status has also been approved to offer NBCC, LMFT, LCDC, Social Workers, Psychologists and SBEC credits for all programs.
You can sign up for facilitating when the program schedule has been finalized.
If selected, you will be assigned a program and be required to pick-up your facilitator packet and pass out sign in sheets at the session and make sure they are returned to the facilitator booth.
