Q: Where will the conference be held?
A: The Westin Galleria is the conference host hotel, and all conference workshops and events will be held here.
Q: Internet access in the Westin Galleria?
A: Internet access will NOT be available in any of the conference meeting rooms at the Westin Galleria. Hotel guests my purchase wireless internet access for their guest room only at a cost of $9.95 per day.

A: Pre-registration is available from Friday, November 15, 2013 to Friday, January 24, 2014. Onsite registration will be available at the Westin Galleria.

A:Pick-up your pre-conference registration materials or register onsite in the Woodway Foyer on the 4th Floor (accessible by stairs from the Galleria Foyer or by elevator from the Plaza Foyer):
-Pre-Conference Workshops ONLY: 7:30am to 9:30am on Sunday, 2/9
-School Counselor Conference ONLY: Noon to 6pm on Sunday, 2/9; 7am to 4pm on Monday, 2/10; and 7 to 10:30am on Tuesday, 2/11
Q. What type of payment is accepted?
A. You can pay for your conference registration by check or by using a MC, Visa, Amex, or Discover credit card. We do not accept Purchase Orders as a form of payment.
Q. How do I cancel my registration?
A. The cancellation deadline is January 24, 2014. Complete the online form at www.txca.org/refund
Q: How do I access handouts?
A: Because there will be NO internet access available in the conference meeting rooms, we ask all attendees to download the program handouts (as submitted by conference presenters) before the conference. Handouts will be available until March 31, 2013. You can access presenter handouts at www.txca.org/handouts; handouts will be posted the first week of February.
Q: Will the handouts be available after conference is over?
A: Attendees can access handouts online thru March 31, 2013.
Q: What is a pre-conference workshop?
A: This year, we are offering a selection of in-depth, 6 hour pre-conference workshops which are available for an additional fee. Individuals do not have to attend the conference to be able to register for a pre-conference workshop. Pre-conference workshops will be held on Sunday, February 9 from 8:45am to 4:45pm.
Q: How much CE credit can I earn at the conference?
A: One (1.0) continuing education contact clock hour is given per session hour. An attendee can earn up to 13.5 CE hours during the three-day conference. Individuals who also register for and attend a pre-conference workshop can earn up to 16.5 CE hours.
Q: What type of CEU credit can I earn at your conference?
A: All conference programs are eligible for LPC, NBCC, SBEC, LCDC, LMFT, SW, and Psychologist continuing education credits.
Q: Where can I submit a survey about my experience at the conference?
A: TCA will email all conference attendees a link to the conference survey, shortly after the conclusion of the event.
Q: What is the deadline for booth move-in?
A: 2pm on Sunday, February 9. Exhibitors may start moving-in at noon.
Q: I'm registered as an Exhibitor can I attend conference sessions?
A: No, you must register for the conference to attend sessions. Exhibitors that are presenting are not required to register as a conference attendee. Certain sponsorship levels receive a complimentary conference registration.

A: There will be approximately 1,500+ School Counselors, LPCs, LMFTs, Counselor Educators, and other mental health professionals in attendance.
